Are you looking for a quarterback?
If you like the information and techniques contained in our published books and on this site, and are now exploring the next step for implementing your plan, we can help.
AWTG has completed estate planning for individuals in almost every state in the U.S. We can work with you and your advisors in several ways, integrating our legal and accounting associates if needed.
The following are questions most frequently asked by our new clients:
If your firm is not geograpically close to us how do we work with you?
We work with you using teleconferencing, fax, e-mail, overnight mail, and by traveling to meet with youat our expenseas necessary. We have provided complete and comprehensive estate and wealth transfer planning to many large estate holders (in excess of $20 million net worth) without a face-to-face meeting! Oftentimes, not meeting in person can save everyone time. However, we expect to travel to meet our clients' needs. If convenient, you can visit one of our offices in Colorado, Arizona, or California.
What special services and expertise does AWTG provide?
We have published best-selling books on estate planning and presented hundreds of seminars throughout the country. And, for many years, we have structured complex estate plans for wealthy individuals. We expect to provide you with references. We invite you to call some of our clients and ask them about us. Interview our legal and accounting professionals. Send for brochures about our firm and our associates. We will be happy to overwhelm you with our materials and expertise until you are satisfied. Attend one of our seminars and get a firsthand view of who we are and what we do.
Can I continue to work with my current advisors, including my attorney?
If you currently have advisors (including a CPA, accountant, attorney, or financial planner), we will gladly integrate their services into the overall estate planning process. Our services complement those of your existing consultants. We do not compete with or duplicate their services.
How do you charge for your services?
Generally, we work on a fee basis. However, the clock usually does not start until we have a good understanding of you and what you want to accomplish. To get to this point, we will provide an initial consultation and a plan summaryincluding number crunching, illustrations, and discussionsat no cost to you.
What is the size of the estates that you generally work with?
Our talents are usually best applied with estates of $2 million and above. However, if your estate hasn't currently reached this value, it is important to remember that early estate planning is essential to protect your assets while they are growing. Our books offer helpful step-by-step planning strategies that you may employ today.
